Flightbeam next airport development survey Dec. 3, 2021
Flightbeam is posting a survey at their site asking what airport should be their next project. https://www.flightbeam.net/survey Personally, I would love to see them make a KLAX. not only is it one of our hubs, but the current FSDreamteam scenery is old and has very poor frame rate performance. Just...

Re: Narita Hub Update – Nov 2021
Hi Jeff, Thanks for the note!!! Dennis has been a mainstay here at VUAL for many years, and drank many bottles of sake at the RJAA pilot lounge (and probably at many other airports!!! HAHA). He has left you big sake glasses to fill, but I am sure you are up to the task. If you need any help downing ...

AAL routes in the schedule - 2 years later - we want your opinion
Pilots, As many of you know, in August 2019 we added AAL routes into our schedule to offer our pilots even more variety of routes and planes to fly. The overall response seems to have been good, but perhaps its time to re-evaluate this. Please vote in the poll and add any comments you might have. Cu...

Screenshots of the old VUAL website
We think we have all got used to the look and feel of our current site over the years. For the most part this site has been the same since VUAL opened its doors in May 2011. Here are some shots of the old home page so we don't forget our heritage. I think you all are going to like the new pages comi...

Re: MSFS PIREPs
Hi Robert,
Our understanding is the new version of ACARS will be compatible with MS2020. We will be incorporating that new ACARS into the new site.

Re: MSFS PIREPs
This is a gray area right now Kevin.
Our ACARS does not work with MS2020.
Pilots can file a manual PIREP, preferrably with a VATSIM link showing time spent online, but is not mandatory.
We are asking pilots to be "honest and accurate" with their PIREP details as best as they can.
Thanks!
Gary
