South Pacific Weekend Event Briefing

The Tokyo/Narita (RJAA) hub is hosting a weekend event, flying from Narita to Guam (PGUM) on Saturday, June 19 and returning to Tokyo on Sunday, June 20. Pilots who complete both legs, and file a PIREP through ACARS or manually with a VATSIM flight link, in United or ANA livery, online or offline, will be eligible for the Tokyo-Guam Weekend award.
For the best experience, log on to TeamSpeak, for company chatter up to 30 minutes before wheels up. It's a great way to iron out last-minute route changes, confirm SIDs and STARs, and coordinate take-offs. (Check with your hub manager for connection info beforehand. In a pinch, we can p/m the info through VATSIM clients during the event.)
Each leg is estimated to run about 3 1/2 hours in a B737/A320 class aircraft but pilots are free to choose any airframe which they are qualified to fly.
The outbound leg will begin at 1700Z, from gates 31-47 (see the RJAA cheat sheet: http://virtualunitedairlines.org/lib/hu ... s/rjaa.pdf). A tentative route, subject to weather on the day: SAMUS Y84 HCE Y840 SABRI B586 UKATA B586 WINZR.
The return leg will start at 1600Z on Sunday. A tentative flight plan, depending on the weather: TOESS B586 SABRI Y873 FITTO Y87 BAFFY
Scenery: It is always recomended that you have the most current scenery for your flights.
RJAA: The payware Drzewiecki RJAA is excellent for MSFS, P3D (4 and 5) and X-Plane.
